Nag's new venture

Anushka on a song

Anushka, the Bangalore girl who made her debut in Nagarjuna's Super, is the toast of Telugu cinema now. She received several offers even before the release of that film. Her following film Mahanandiwith Sumanth also did well. Now, her latest film Asthram where she stars opposite Vishnu is almost complete. Produced by Raju Hirwani of Supreme audio, the film is being directed by Suresh Krishna. S.A. Rajkumar has scored the music. The film also stars Jackie Shroff as a Carnatic singer. The audio of the film is likely to hit stands in March while the film will release in April. She has also signed another new film with Raviteja.

Nag's new venture

Having wound up the shooting of Sri Ramadasu, directed by K. Raghavendra Rao and produced by Konda Krishnamraju, Nagarjuna is gearing up for his next film to be directed by V.N. Aditya. Nag and Aditya have come together after the hit film, Nenunnanu. The new film will be produced by D. Sivaprasada Reddy, who has earlier worked with Nagarjuna on Kamakshi Arts banner. The shooting is expected to begin on March 16. Nayanatara and Poonam have been paired opposite Nagarjuna. For the first time, Kalyani Malik will compose for a Nag film.

Pawan's film nears completion

Aditya Music, which bagged the audio rights of Pawan Kalyan's latest flick Bangaram, is all set to market the audiocassettes in March. The film is produced by A.M. Ratnam and has music by Vidyasagar. Meera Chopra and Reema Sen are the heroines of the film, which will be directed by Dharani. The shooting of the film came to a close with the picturisation of a song choreographed by Sabina Khan.
