PR will pass resolution for separate Telangana’

KARIMNAGAR: Yuva Rajyam president Pawan Kalyan has said that Praja Rajyam would pass a resolution in the Assembly on the formation of a separate Telangana after attaining power.

Talking to newsmen here at the party office on Tuesday, he pointed out, “Telangana statehood issue is the self-respect of the region. I will definitely support the formation of separate State”.

He reiterated that the PR was committed for providing social justice to all in a separate Telangana.

Alleging that the TRS, TDP and Congress parties do not have any clarity on Telangana issue, he He flayed TRS president for not doing anything for the formation of Telangana ridiculed TRS chief for abruptly ending his fast-unto- death programme launched for the cause of Telangana at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi.

Launching a scathing attack against the Congress and TDP for neglecting the statehood issue during their regimes, he called upon the people to teach a fitting lesson to these parties and grill them during their visits to villages. Congress was spending more money on publicity than development of the backward regions, he said.

PR district leaders V. Rajender Rao, Devishetty Srinivas, Mathangi Narsaiah were present among others.
