ADILABAD: The teaching community in Adilabad is exercised over the exact ‘resemblance’ of the SSC pre-final question papers with the model paper published in a ‘guide’ by a famous publisher of such study material from Vijayawada.
So far pre-final exams have been conducted for first language Telugu paper I and II and second language Hindi and it was found that a set of model papers from the guide in question is totally similar, including the order of questions in the pre-final exam.
A teacher sought an enquiry into this suspicious phenomenon. He said the second set of SSC question papers (to be used when a leak of question paper occurs) usually remains unused and is used as the question paper for pre-final exams the next year. This second set is withdrawn from the custody of the police stations concerned in due course and is deposited with the District Common Examination Boards. “There is no way an outsider can lay his hands on this set,” he said.
