HYDERABAD: Praja Rajyam is seriously considering a stand in favour of imposing total prohibition in the State if elected to power.
An indication to this effect was made when party president K. Chiranjeevi said on Saturday that internally, they were already involved in the exercise of considering the different aspects of the subject and about going about it partially and in a phased manner.
He was reacting to a question from the audience at a function after making the Mahila Rajyam president Ch. Shoba Rani, executive president Dr. Vijayalakshmi and other office-bearers in the party’s women’s wing take an oath to serve the party and the people.
When a lady asked him his views of prohibition, he said the think tank was already working it out and would soon come out with an announcement.
